Annette Redman, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Annette Redman has lived the majority of her life in Black Hawk County. She became an audiologist over twenty years ago after completion of her Bachelor’s degree with highest honors at UNI. She continued her studies to include a Master’s degree also from UNI and then achieving her Doctorate in Audiology from A. T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She has worked clinically in private practice at NewSound Hearing Centers since 1994 and in addition to her duties in fitting hearing instruments, she has taken a special interest in writing and developing coping strategies and other related hearing rehabilitation for the hearing impaired and their families. She has given numerous public talks and was awarded Toastmaster of the Year by the local Waterloo 101 Toastmasters Club in the late 1990s. She also is a “Person You Should Know” designate and in this role speaks three times a year on the campus at UNI to the Human Relations class within the department of education at UNI. She is the Educational Chair of the Iowa Hearing Association and was awarded the Dispenser of the Year in 2006. She has been married for over thirty years and has three children. She is active in her church and has been on her church board for six years including two as the Chair and enjoys reading, exercising and gardening and has a special interest in military history and the Civil War in particular.
Molly O'Keefe

Molly is originally from Manly, IA and moved to Fairbank, IA in 2022. She attended Iowa State University studying Linguistics and Communication Disorders and Sciences. Molly started working at NewSound Hearing Centers in 2022 and started working in the hearing industry in 2021 as an Audiologist assistant while doing newborn hearing screenings.
What Molly loves most about saving hearing lives is the opportunity to help patients improve their quality of life. By restoring their hearing abilities, she can witness the positive impact it has on their overall well-being. Molly finds fulfillment in knowing that she plays a vital role in enhancing her patient’s communication skills, relationships, and overall happiness. Outside of saving hearing lives, Molly loves to spend time with her two dogs, family, and friends.
